Hydroflex Epoxy Primer

The Bitumer Hydroflex system is an innovative and modern approach to waterproofing coatings. The system includes 3 steps that ensure high mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance for long-term use. Hydroflex is widely used in the protection of roofs, terraces, balconies, verandas, sub-tile waterproofing of swimming pools, indoor and outdoor waterproofing, protection of concrete structures, tunnels, platforms, bases, protection of polyurethane foam insulation, and as insulation for flowerbeds and planting boxes.
Due to its high adhesion to many substrates, the Hydroflex System makes it possible to protect old roof coatings made of roofing paper, EPDM, PVC or made of acrylic, without the need to tear off and remove the old covering, thus significantly reducing labor costs.

HYDROFLEX liquid polyurethane waterproofing system is excellent wherever open flames cannot be used during the application of hot-welded membranes, such as gas stations and other facilities associated with the distribution of fuels or flammable materials.

This also applies to historic buildings. The HYDROFLEX system will also be an ideal and convenient solution for waterproofing roofs where it is very difficult or even impossible to use roll insulation materials such as tar paper or membrane due to the large number of different technical installations.

HYDROFLEX liquid waterproofing will also make it 5 times faster to treat roof penetrations or footings on which various technical structures are based.

HYDROFLEX EPOXY PRIMER

A two-component epoxy primer that increases the adhesion of protective coatings to mineral, steel, glass and plastic surfaces.

Used as a universal primer for waterproofing, sealing and floor coatings on absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.

Key features:

• perfectly penetrates deep into insulated surfaces,
• for application by brush, paint brush or spray,
• has good adhesion to dry substrates (concrete,tar paper, eternit, steel structures, etc.),
• after drying, it forms a uniform strong and flexible coating resistant to chemical agents, oils, kerosene,  acids and alkalis, as well as physical agents: heat, frost and water.
• resistant to standing water,
• tensile and impact resistant, can be diluted with water – water-based,
• light gray in color,
• a product with little noticeable odor .

Usage:

Bitumer Hydroflex Epoxy Primer is mainly used as a primer for polyurethane waterproofing coatings, polyurethane joint sealing, and polyurethane and epoxy floor coatings on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces such as:

• concrete ,
• metal,
• asphalt,
• bituminous membranes,
• ceramic tiles,
• old acrylic-based coatings,
• mosaic,
• glass.

Bitumer Hydroflex Epoxy Primer is also ideal:

• For protecting concrete from moisture, water and corrosion,
• For making anti-corrosion coatings,
• As a universal primer for waterproofing, sealing and floor coatings on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces.

Application:

Hydroflex Epoxy Primer can be applied to the surface by hand with a brush, roller or  paint brush.
Spray application is also possible.
